Champadevi & Nagarjun Trek to KTM

Overview

Some of the finest views of the High Himalayas can be seen right from the rim of the hills that ring the Kathmandu Valley. These high hills rise to an elevation of over 2800 meters which afford some breathtaking views. These places are easy to reach, enjoyable to trek and allows you to stay in your Three Star Hotel in Kathmandu for the evenings.

The Kathmandu Valley is steeped with an incredible culture dating back over 2000 years. The Valley is more than just the city of Kathmandu; there are all sorts of small villages, Buddhist monasteries, temples and people of different cultures. This tour will allow you the opportunity to interact with the various castes and cultures as well as to even participate in their local festivals.

This trip will focus on three areas: The UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Pharping area as well as Nagarjun, a part of Shivapuri National Park. The trails are fun to trek as well as offering some great walks through forests of pine and rhododendron.

Even if you are considering a longer trek deep in the mountains, taking this trek will not only get you in shape, but will help to orientate you on the incredible culture and scenery of Nepal. This is a good trek for beginners or those with families

Be sure to talk to your representative at Vertical Expedition about participating in this wonderfully short, but enlightening trek.
